U.S. 41 Shuts Down After Fatal Motorcycle Crash!
In a collision in North Chicago on Friday afternoon, a motorcyclist lost his life.
The North Chicago Fire Department received a call at 4 p.m. regarding a motorcycle that had been struck by a sport utility vehicle on U.S. 41 south of Buckley Road.
After the rider was knocked off, emergency personnel attended to him on the spot. However, according to North Chicago authorities, he was declared deceased at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital at 4:40 p.m.

The SUV’s driver was taking a test drive at a nearby dealership. According to authorities, the motorist made a U-turn on 41 while traveling south and collided with the biker.
A blockage was placed in place on U.S. 41.
