19-Year-Old Charged With DUI Manslaughter In Fatal Accident!

Investigators claim that a 19-year-old caused a crash that claimed the life of a 71-year-old man, and as a result, the guy is charged with DUI manslaughter.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), on March 9 at 1:10 p.m., there were reports of a collision and fire at the junction of Wellington Trace and Greenview Shores Blvd.

The crash report states that the 18-year-old driver of a 2012 BMW was approaching the entrance to Greenview Shoppes at Wellington while driving quickly north on Greenview Shores Blvd.

Aristides Guerra, 71, was ready to turn into the retail complex while driving his 2014 Jeep southward in the left lane on Greenview Shores Blvd. at the exact moment.

According to investigators, as soon as Guerra started to turn, the BMW and the passenger side of Guerra’s Jeep collided.

According to the crash report, the Jeep rolled over after spinning around during the collision. Regretfully, Guerra perished after being trapped inside the Jeep when it caught fire.

According to the sheriff’s office, the young motorist was impaired by drink or narcotics when the accident occurred. With only minor wounds, he was sent to Wellington Regional Medical Center.

Eight months later, on November 7, the sheriff’s office reports that they took the driver, now 19-year-old Gabriel Glushien, into custody on suspicion of DUI manslaughter. His reservation was made at the Palm Beach County Jail.
