Law Enforcement Response

Deputies from the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene shortly after receiving the citizen’s report. What they encountered was deeply troubling—a large number of dogs in distressing conditions.

Tragic Discovery and Ongoing Investigation

As part of their intervention, investigators seized a total of 44 dogs from the property. Sadly, six of these dogs were found to have already passed away due to the challenging circumstances they were subjected to.
