Lyles had originally planned to start his 2024 indoor season at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in February.

However, he made an unexpected appearance at the Florida Collegiate International 2024 meet.

In 2023, Lyles achieved something historic at the World Athletics Championships. He became the first man since Usain Bolt in 2015 to achieve a triple victory.

Lyles secured gold medals in the men’s 100m (setting a personal best of 9.83), 200m (19.52), and the 4x100m relay.

Team Success

Lyles, alongside Christian Coleman, Fred Kerley, and Brandon Carnes, earned the sprint relay gold for the United States with a winning time of 37.38 seconds.
