Lake County Woman’s $1 Million Lottery Victory
After winning one million dollars from a scratch-off game in the Florida Lottery, a woman from Lake County is now more wealthy.
The winner of the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR game was Shelby Abbott, who took home the jackpot.
The individual, who was 29 years old, made the decision to receive a one-time single payment of $640,000.
While in Eustis, Abbot made the purchase of the winning ticket at Circle K, which is located on East Orange Avenue.

Those who sold the winning ticket were awarded a sum of two thousand dollars.
The $50 game was introduced in February, and it offers 234 prizes of $1 million each, including two top rewards of $1 million per year for the rest of one’s life.
72% of total ticket sales during the fiscal year 2022-2023 were comprised of scratch-off games.
More than $45 billion is contributed by the Florida Lottery to the Bright Futures Scholarship Program and other educational initiatives.
