1 Dead, 1 Injured in Tragic Shooting at Platte City Wendy’s
A major incident occurred late Wednesday night in Platte City, Missouri, triggering a police investigation. The incident occurred in the Wendy’s parking lot at Running Horse Road and Platte Falls Road.
Police Response and Investigation
Police were called to the scene about 6:20 p.m. after receiving a report of gunfire in the surrounding area. Officers arrived and discovered two injured men on the ground in the parking lot.

Victims’ Condition and Hospitalization
Both injured people were quickly brought to the hospital. According to Police Chief Joe Wellington’s report, one of them died and the other is in critical condition.
