Woman Killed, Four Injured in Early Morning Incident in Los Angeles County

A shooting incident shook Los Angeles County shortly after New Year’s, resulting in the tragic death of a woman and injuries to four others, according to local authorities.

Police Rush to Scene, Victims Hospitalized

Officers from the Hawthorne Police Department swiftly responded to reports of gunfire around 12:30 a.m. near a shopping hub situated at Crenshaw Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue.

A male victim with gunshot wounds was immediately taken to a hospital from the scene. Four more victims arrived at hospitals independently, with one woman tragically losing her life.

Another victim remains in critical condition while three others are listed as stable.
