Man Dies After Being Hit By Car On Highway 287 In Fort Worth!
Authorities in Fort Worth are looking into an incident that claimed a man’s life on Saturday night. At about 8:45 p.m., the department received a call from a woman reporting that her husband had been struck in the southbound lanes of Highway 287 close to Blue Mound Road.
Officers reported discovering a male on the grassy median on the northbound side of the road upon their arrival. Despite the efforts of first responders to administer medical care, the person was declared deceased.
The victim’s identity has been confirmed by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as Jordon Jacob Beggs, 28.
Officials said that when the man and his wife pulled over, they were fighting. The man was struck by another car after he allegedly exited the vehicle and attempted to cross the highway.

The driver of the second car remained at the site and assisted with the inquiry, according to the police. There are currently no anticipated costs.
