Three Chicago policemen committed suicide this week.

That makes seven CPD officer suicides this year.

Police union leaders have blamed mental health issues on high workloads, cancelled days off, and an anti-police attitude.

On “Chicago Tonight,” Robert Sobo, director of the Chicago Police Department’s Professional Counseling Division and Employee Assistance Program, and Alisha Warren, assistant commissioner of mental health for the Chicago Department of Public Health, talked about the problems and resources police officers face.
