Chicago police have issued a new alert due to a string of robberies on the city’s North and Northwest sides. CPD stated that they all occurred within one hour. The first three were located in the Humboldt Park and Ukrainian Village neighborhoods on the city’s Northwest Side.
Then four more occurred in the West Ridge and Rogers Park areas. In all cases, a gang of guys brandished firearms and demanded the victims hand up their possessions. No one was wounded, and nobody has been taken into custody.
