How Many Children Do They Have?

The couple Chelsea and Freddie have three boys. Frederick Charles Freeman II, who they call Charlie, was their first child and announced the news on Instagram. He was born on September 15, 2016. They had “twins with a twist” in 2020 and 2021. Their names are Brandon John and Maximus Turner Freeman.

After Chelsea had an emergency cesarean birth in 2016 with their son Charlie, the couple was open about the problems they were having during her pregnancy.

“It was a lot of visits to the doctor, treatments, and tests,” Chelsea told ESPN in February 2021. “A lot of them by myself, because it was during the baseball season. It’s all worth it in the end, but going through that … definitely one of the hardest things mentally that you could go through.”

She continued, “The hardest part about going through infertility is the emotion. You are so drained because you don’t know why — like, ‘Why isn’t it happening? How is this part of God’s plan?’ You think about those things.”

In order to have more children, the couple used a surrogate. To their surprise, Chelsea got pregnant again with their second and third child.
