Three Deaths In Parker And Douglas County Under Investigation

The Parker Police Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the deaths of an adult male and a child guy, whose bodies were discovered Thursday morning along the Reuter-Hess Incline in Douglas County.

The Reuter-Hess Incline is a famous hiking track located near the Reuter-Hess Reservoir, about 5 miles from downtown Parker.

According to Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly, information obtained at the location led them to another residence in Parker, where they located another death.

One Body Found Inside A Home On Blackwolf Drive

At 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, officers were asked to conduct a welfare check at a home on Blackwolf Drive in Parker, where they discovered the death of an adult female.

The house was also the location of a reported natural gas leak, which forced the evacuation of surrounding residences until South Metro Fire Rescue crews arrived and aided with the gas leak.

Investigators aren’t sure if the gas leak is related to the death inquiry or if it was a separate occurrence.

Deaths Believed To Be Related, No Threat To The Community

Investigators suspect the three killings, which occurred in two different places, are connected. They have not, however, revealed the victims’ identities, causes of death, or methods of death to the public.

They have also not shown the nature of the victims’ relationship or whether there are any suspects or persons of interest in the investigation.

Sheriff Weekly stated that he believes there is no danger to the community and that he is working hard to solve the issue.

“We are asking for the public’s patience and cooperation as we continue our investigation,” he said. “We will provide more information as soon as we can.”
