A man was shot and critically injured inside a home in Chicago’s Northwest Side‘s Jefferson Park neighbourhood on Wednesday night.
The 27-year-old was inside a house at around 11:11 p.m. According to authorities, he was in the 5500 block of North McVicker Avenue when someone he knew took out a weapon and began firing.
He was shot in the abdomen and sent to Lutheran General Hospital, where he was classified in critical condition, according to authorities.
According to police, a weapon was seized from the site, but no one was arrested.
Police suspect the shooting was a domestic dispute.
