Lake County Deputies Hunt for Missing Winter Springs Woman

Deputies from Lake County were hunting for a Winter Springs mother of four who had gone missing about five days earlier.

They’ve been looking for Shakeira Rucker in various counties. On Thursday morning, deputies were patrolling Wolfbrance Road in Mount Dora.

That’s near where Rucker’s ex-husband, Cory Hill, used to live. Hill had been spotted with Rucker last. On Saturday night, they were caught on video at a seafood restaurant in Davenport.

Hill got arrested later for a fight with his girlfriend in Orange County. He hasn’t been helpful to the detectives looking for Rucker.

Investigators have also searched Polk County and are continuing looking for leads on Thursday. They are requesting that anyone with information come forward. There is a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of whoever is involved.
