HPD Claims, a Man was Shot and Murdered in the Acres Homes Apartment Complex

According to HPD, the man was discovered in a common area of a West Montgomery Road apartment complex.

A local hospital confirmed his death shortly after he arrived there.

HOUSTON— According to local law enforcement, a 25-year-old man was shot and killed Monday in an apartment complex in Houston’s far northwest.

The Houston Police Department reports that the incident happened just after noon at a building on West Montgomery Road, close to West Gulf Bank Road.

According to HPD, the body was discovered in a parking lot. Police said he was brought to a local hospital but later declared dead there.

The police have not offered a description of the suspect. They say they have not located any witnesses or a motive for the murder.

However, the victim’s name has not been made public.
