Former Orange County Teacher Faces Charges Over 28 Alleged S*x Tapes with Student
Marie-Jo Gordo, a former Orange County teacher, is under investigation after investigators found 28 adult films involving her and a former eighth-grade student.
The student’s parents discovered these films, which allegedly showed Gordo and their underage son indulging in s*xual acts across Central Florida between June and September 2023.
Charges and Resignation
Gordo resigned from an Orange County charter school in June before starting as an art instructor at another institution, despite facing federal accusations for three counts of engaging in s*xual conduct with a minor.

Reporting and Investigation
When the student’s parents saw the videos, they immediately informed the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities discovered multiple recordings thought to have been recorded and shared from a device linked to Gordo after providing their son’s phone for investigation.
Confirmation of Relationship
Further investigation by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the relationship between Gordo and the student identified as “CV” in records.
Gordo was identified as his “religious ambassador” in 2019 in addition to her work as his teacher.

Legal Proceedings
Gordo, who was arrested in October, has been released and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
