One person died after a car accident between 2 cars took place in El Cajon.
Around 5:54 p.m., police and paramedics were dispatched to a traffic collision on Broadway and Graves Avenue, according to reports.
“A dark-colored sedan was traveling on Broadway when it turned southbound on Graves Avenue. Then a white pickup truck hit the car while it was traveling eastbound on Broadway”, Lt. Jeremiah Larson, of the El Cajon Police Department reported in this statement.

According to investigators, a dark-colored sedan was struck in the passenger side door, severely injuring an 83-year-old male passenger who later died at the hospital. The female driver, 86 years old, was treated for minor injuries.
The white pickup truck was being driven by a single occupant, and he was not harmed in the collision, according to authorities. It does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident at this point.
