Here’s Why Joe Gatto is quitting his role on ‘Impractical Jokers’

Of all the reality shows on television, there is one that never fails to generate laughter.

For nine seasons, “Impractical Jokers” has been entertaining viewers with the antics of buddies Sal Vulcano, James Murray, Brian Quinn, and Joe Gatto as they dare each other to take part in more outrageous pranks.

The hidden camera programme nailed the concept, displaying an all-out prank war between four pals who clearly get a kick out of causing one another to chuckle.

From its humble beginnings as a cable show on TruTV, the franchise has expanded into other media formats, including a full-length film, and a global phenomenon.

Deadline reports that the sitcom has been renewed for a tenth season, so fans can look forward to more antics from their favourite Staten Island lads.

The cherished programme will have to move forward without one of those guys.

While we’re sad to hear that Joe Gatto won’t be returning to “Impractical Jokers,” we can certainly respect his decision.

It’s time for Joe Gatto to leave work and devote himself to his family. According to an Instagram post by Joe Gatto, he “will no longer be connected with Impractical Jokers.”

He’s leaving the programme because of some major life changes. To be more specific, he says that he and his wife, Bessy, have separated and that he “now [has] to focus on being the best father and co-parent to [they are] amazing kids.”

Together, they’ve produced two children, ages six and four. We’re sorry to hear this. Our family comes first. Gatto admits that it was difficult for him to cut ties with the other clowns.

“My friendships with Murr, Q, and Sal are among the most meaningful in my life outside my family.

I do not doubt that they will keep people laughing for years. “Writing is what he does.
Gatto may no longer appear on “Impractical Jokers,” but it doesn’t mean he’s giving up comedy altogether.

“Witnessing your joy has been my form of medication, especially in the strange and trying times we’ve found ourselves in.

As I overcome these obstacles, I look forward to and am delighted to bring you even more ways to enjoy my work ” .

We wish Gatto and his loved ones the best of luck in their next chapter and will miss seeing him hang out with his companions.
