One Dead, Several Wounded In Club 195 On Highway 49 South Shooting Near County Line

Following a recent shooting at Club 195 on Old Highway 49 South, close to the Forrest and Stone county line, one person was murdered, and numerous more were injured.

According to Forrest County Sheriff’s Department public relations officer Sherri Marengo, reports of gunfire during a private party at the club prompted authorities to arrive at the scene early on October 29.

Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the shooting; one victim passed away as a result of her wounds, authorities discovered throughout the inquiry.

Jade Rhodes, a 21-year-old Hattiesburg resident, was confirmed as the deceased victim by Forrest County deputy coroner Lisa Klem.
