One Dead, Another in Critical Condition After Collision in Wood County
A tragic incident unfolded on December 26th around 1:30 p.m. near Day Road in Auburndale, as reported by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
An eastbound car on US Hwy 10 attempted to pass a semi-truck when an SUV, traveling in the wrong direction on the westbound lane, collided head-on with the car.

Fatalities and Critical Injuries
The collision resulted in the immediate death of the car’s driver at the crash site.
Meanwhile, a passenger from the same car sustained minor injuries and was transported to Marshfield Medical Center.
The SUV’s driver, the sole occupant, was rushed to Marshfield Medical Center in critical condition.
