The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating a missing teenager. 15-year-old Kaylee.

A. Powell was last seen leaving John Muir Middle School at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16.

Police say Kaylee had mentioned intentions to run away. She’s considered a missing at-risk juvenile because of the below-freezing temperatures. She reportedly has high-functioning autism:

She carried a dark backpack and had on a dark, long-sleeved undershirt over a dark Hawaiian floral shirt with green flowers.
