CHICAGO — Killer(s) of a father and his adult daughter are being sought after their bodies were discovered in an apartment in the city’s East Chatham district.

Chicago police were responding to a check welfare call on Wednesday near East 82nd Street and South Drexel Avenue when they discovered the two adults fatally shot, along with a 2-year-old toddler.

The kid was sent to the emergency room. After Javonni Jenkins didn’t show up to work on Wednesday, police were summoned to his apartment. Jenkins was a medical assistant at Holy Cross Hospital.

According to WGN, when a coworker tried to call her, her 2-year-old son answered the phone. Her father, Curtis Hartman, 79, and daughter, Jennifer Jenkins, were both dead when police arrived.
