Macomb County Sheriff Arrests Trio in Human Trafficking Case

There are three women who have been charged in connection with a prostitution ring that has been operating in multiple places in the Metro Detroit area.

According to the authorities, Lori Cai of Troy, Shuying Ding of Appleton, Wisconsin, and Xiaohong Ban of Chicago were the owners of various massage parlors that were reportedly engaged in the practice of sexual solicitation.

Three women are accused of operating a prostitution and human trafficking ring at massage parlors and homes, according to Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham. The allegations were made by Wickersham.

“During the course of this investigation a total of 42 search warrants were completed to aid in this investigation,” according to Wickersham.

According to Wickersham, the women who were victims of human trafficking did not have access to their own transportation and were moved continuously between houses and massage parlors.

During a press conference held at the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, Wickersham, together with the Prosecutor Peter Lucido and representatives from other law enforcement agencies, named a number of places that were subjected to raids.

Massage parlors may be found in Livonia, Shelby Township, Fraser, and Mount Clemens, among other locations that are included.

In addition, Sheriff Wickersham stated that investigators were led to websites where women were seeking sexual activity online by means of a tip.
