Local Legend And WQMX-FM Host ‘Foz’ Fazio Killed In I-271 Wrong-Way Crash
Local DJ and WQMX radio personality Daniel Fazio was killed early on Saturday morning in a head-on car crash, according to the police.
According to Warrensville Heights police, the collision occurred on Saturday at approximately 2:45 a.m. close to Interstates 480 West and 271 South.
Fazio, 47, was slain in the head-on accident, according to the police. According to the police, Luis Caban-Medina, 31, was driving north in the southbound lanes when he struck Fazio’s vehicle squarely. Caban-Medina perished in the collision as well.

There have been 132 wrong-way collisions this year, with 14 of them being deadly, according to statistics from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Out of the 202 crashes that occurred last year, 13 were fatal.
The accident is still being investigated, according to the police.
