Husband and Wife Killed 19 Days Apart in Butler County Motorcycle Crash

Wayne and Kathy Hensley, a devoted couple married for 46 years, tragically lost their lives following a motorcycle collision in Madison Township.

The accident, involving their Harley-Davidson and a Dodge Durango, resulted in Kathy’s immediate passing on the night of the crash, while Wayne succumbed to his injuries 19 days later at Miami Valley Hospital.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Ohio 122 and West Alexandria Road.

The Dodge Durango, driven by Shambria Phillips, failed to yield, causing the Hensleys’ motorcycle to collide with a ditch.

Despite efforts to save Wayne’s life, he battled severe injuries, including traumatic brain injuries and multiple broken bones.
