In East Mount Airy overnight Sunday, two persons were hurt in a drive-by shooting at a petrol station. Just after 1 AM, the Action Cam was on the scene at the Liberty Gas Station near Easton Road and Lowber Avenue. According to the police, a red Dodge vehicle was at a gas pump when a passenger in a white Kia drove through the gas station parking lot and started shooting.
A 23-year-old man was hit once in the back. A 21-year-old female suffered injuries from glass fragments while the third 25-year-old passenger was unhurt. According to investigators, there is no known motivation for the shooting, at this point. They are looking at security camera footage for more review.
