Gas Prices Drop in Los Angeles and Orange Counties

As average gas prices continue to fall, motorists in Los Angeles and Orange Counties are seeing a favorable shift at the pumps.

The cost of ordinary self-serve gasoline has dropped in both counties during the last week. This decrease represents a healthy trend, providing some respite to drivers who have recently faced high fuel costs.

The gradual decline in prices is a welcome improvement for travelers to these Southern California districts.

Gas Prices Fall Again in Los Angeles, Orange Counties:

Los Angeles

The average price of a gallon of ordinary self-service gasoline in Los Angeles County has decreased somewhat, now standing at $4.718.

This is the third consecutive day of fall, following a 1.1 cent drop on Sunday.

While it is down 4.2 cents from the previous week and 13.4 cents from a month ago, it is still 20.8 cents higher than this time last year.

The price has dropped by $1.776 from reaching a high of $6.494 on October 5, 2022.

Orange County

In Orange County, the average gas price experienced a modest decrease, resting at $4.624 after dropping by three-tenths of a cent.

Similar to Los Angeles County, the current price is 3.4 cents lower than the previous week and 6.1 cents less compared to a month ago.

However, it stands 20 cents higher than the same time last year. Since its peak of $6.459 on October 5, 2022, the Orange County average has dropped by $1.835.
