Frisco Police Searching for Gunman Kills One, Injures Another in Random Attack
In Frisco, there is a gunman on the loose who has shot one man dead and hospitalized another, according to the local police. Zach Lowe works and lives across the street from a bustling Walmart Supercenter on Preston Road, where the double-victim attack occurred.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, when his duty ended, he was walking home when he came upon an unsettling crime scene. Dung Doan, who was reportedly out for an evening stroll when he witnessed the first incident, was killed in what police characterized as a random armed robbery and shooting.
CBS News Texas shared a post on Facebook:
The 21-year-old had just begun his trip home when a stranger approached and requested for a cigarette, according to Lowe’s father and sister, who spoke to CBS News Texas.
“And Zach says, ‘No, I don’t have any cigarettes.’ And the guy pulls his gun out and pointed at his stomach and says, ‘Give me all your money, everything you have,” stated Morgan Lowe.
Denny Lowe stated, “I would just say that the gentleman that was walking by…he definitely did save my my son’s life with just innocently walking by.”

He went on to state that he had no idea what had happened to him. This person is still out there and this person is dangerous and could do more harm. We therefore wish to prevent anyone else from going through the same catastrophe that we have.
Even with the parking lot’s cameras, the public’s assistance is still needed by the police. To aid Lowe in his recuperation, his family has created a GoFundMe page. Police haven’t described the culprit as of yet.
