Following A Stabbing On Campus, Students Leave Marshall High School And Demand Justice

Students at John Marshall High School in Los Feliz walked out on Thursday after a stabbing on campus.

The incident occurred at the school, 3939 Tracy St., around 3:30 p.m.

According to Los Angeles School Police, at least two people were stabbed. During a fight and were taken to the hospital. Officials later stated that two students were involved and that a third unidentified individual may not have been a student at the tire.

There have been no arrests in connection with the attack, and no weapon has been recovered.

Students protested during their recess on Thursday, demanding improved safety measures and accountability. Some people carried signs that said, “Is this the new normal?” and “hold the administration accountable.”

Many people said they don’t feel safe after the stabbing and other recent incidents, such as fights, lockdowns, and threats.

“Having lockdowns has been stressful, and everyone just feels like it’s not safe here.” “As a result, we want more security, more protocols to do that,” one student told KTLA.

“I want justice for my friends who were harmed as a result of what happened, and I want the school to accept responsibility and change,” said another student.
