Chicago: After Accusing Pritzker Of Making A Death Threat, Darren Bailey Blames The Secretary Of State Police

one day after, a man accused of threatening to kill Darren Bailey charges with a murder threat.
Gov. JB Pritzker accused Bailey of attempting to politicize the situation, while Bailey questioned why The Secretary of State’s police dismissed the threat as unfounded.
Scott Lennox, A 21-year-old man from Chicago, was charged with making a death threat over the phone to Bailey. Yet to post bond. He is still being held at the Cook County Jail on Thursday.
Meanwhile, with the election only five days away, Bailey and Pritzker remained locked in a verbal battle.
Pritzker visited seniors in Englewood on Thursday morning, encouraging them to vote as Election Day approaches.

Bailey stated on Thursday that he and his family are now safe.
“It’s a problem when they come after our children and grandchildren and the entities we’ve invested in all our lives, our farm, and other things,” his wife Cindy Bailey said. “And it enrages me righteously.”
Pritzker stated that he has received numerous threats against him in recent years and expressed sympathy for Bailey and his family.
“We’re in the middle of a political campaign; I think we just need to tone it down and make sure we’re protecting anyone under attack,” Pritzker said.
The candidates are now concentrating their efforts on getting out the vote. Pritzker held a second event Thursday afternoon, and Bailey will hold a rally in the evening.
