Child Fatally Shot, Four Wounded At Houston-Area Flea Market!
According to Pearland Police Department authorities, a famous flea market in the Houston region on Sunday resulted in many shooting incidents, including the death of a kid.
The Cole’s Antique Village & Flea Market, located off Highway 35 just south of the Beltway, is where the authorities say five people were shot. At about 5:30 p.m., according to Pearland Police Department Public Information Officer Chad Rogers, they received the first 911 call regarding the incident.
According to Rogers, there was a fight between two individuals, and gunfire ensued. Investigators are unsure if the two or one of the argument’s participants fired rounds while brandishing a pistol.
According to the police, the argument between the parties was an isolated incident, and they did not believe it to be a targeted attack.
Three ad*lts and two toddlers were shot. They were brought to medical facilities for care. The victims’ status remained a secret until Pearland police provided an update at 8:30 p.m. On Sunday, however, at 9:30 p.m., authorities announced that a 10-year-old boy had passed away.

Regarding the remaining victims, police reported that a 14-year-old girl was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital and is in stable condition; a 37-year-old man was taken to UTMB Clear Lake and was in stable condition; a 16-year-old boy was taken to Ben Taub Hospital and was undergoing surgery; and an 18-year-old boy was taken to UTMB Clear Lake and was in stable condition.
Nobody has been placed under arrest. The identity of those who took part in the argument that resulted in the gunshot is reportedly unknown to the authorities. They did state that they are still speaking with witnesses and that they think two or three people fired rounds.
