Child Tax Credit Update: A portal To Update Bank Details And Facilitate Payments
The US government has expanded the policy for the child tax credit. However, the treasury department, along with the White House officials in the US, launched a website recently so that the eligible ones can get themselves registered and apply for it.
They have created a website named GetCTC.org. The US government created it to facilitate the residents who don’t even file tax returns to get themselves registered. Non-citizens who don’t even file tax returns can claim $300 per month per child under the child tax credit.

What can the Child Tax Credit Update Portal be used for?
Using the newly created portal, people can not only register themselves. Rather they can check their advanced monthly check payment status. They check the status of processed payments. Even it allows users to update their household information as well as personal information like age, income, marital status, etc. You can even edit if any recent changes took place in 2021.
The user can also update information regarding their salary, even if it is increased or decreased, to get the most benefit out of the child tax credit policy of the US government.
