For some Americans, there is an incoming $1,400 in just 2 weeks. It’s called the Plus Up Stimulus Check. It’s simple; Submit your 2020 tax return; relax and expect the payment.

Reason for the IRS Stimulus Plus Up Check.

The Economic Impact Payments are paid based on tax returns or information collected from the SSA, RRB, or VA. For some people, the first second Economic Impact Payments were paid using the 2019 tax returns or information collected from the SSA, RRB, or VA.

Between 2019 tax returns and 2020 tax returns circumstances may have changed. Some may now have more children, some might have lost their jobs or have pay cuts. The IRA was not aware of these situations and did not send their checks or did not give some people full payment.

Eligible candidates are to submit their 2020 tax returns before December 17, 2021. This money will be paid till December 31st, 2021 according to the stipulated legislative deadline.

Lots of Plus Up checks have been sent this far. Although the IRS hasn’t shared how many plus-up checks have been sent out altogether, in July 900,000 had already gone out. These checks totaled $1.6 billion. Between late spring and July, 9 million went out. The checks are still going out till December 31st.

Other stimulus payments in States

Ford Bent County, Texas.

If you are living in Fort Bend County, Texas; you can get $500 child care vouchers. These vouchers are renewable for 3 months. They’re renewable for up to three months. This means if you have 4 kids you can receive a $6000 voucher at the end of the 3 months. Over 700 vouchers have been disbursed this far and there are still $1 million earmarked already to be disbursed.

California Golden State Stimulus II Check.

For those who have received the first golden state stimulus checks, expect the second stimulus checks. These checks are worth up to $1,100 and will continue to be sent until Jan. 11. By January 21, 2022; everyone eligible would have received their payments either by deposit or paper check.

Maine Checks.

If you are living in Maine, then expect $285; the government of Maine has decided to give $285 each to 500,000 Maine residents. Checks are coming in.

Seattle Low Resident Financial Assistance.

For those low-income residents in Seattle; the government of Seattle is offering up to $3,000 for low-income residents that need financial assistance due to the pandemic. This is real and residents of Seattle must take advantage of this opportunity.

Economic Impact Payments

As a refresher, those who qualified for the Economic Impact Payments are those who make $75,000 or $150,000 as a single or married joint filer respectively.

There had been three Economic Impact Payments because of the effect of COVID. The first was $1,200 or $2,400 for single or couple respectively, plus $500 for each child that qualified. The second Economic Impact Payment was $600 or $1200 for single or married respectively plus $600 for each qualifying child born in 2020.
