Shooting in the North Linden Neighborhood of Columbus in Oheo- A Teenage Boy Died in the Incident

On Christmas afternoon, a teen male was shot and killed in the North Linden area of Columbus. Upon arriving at the 700 block of Moon Road at 3 p.m. on Sunday, police in Columbus found Desire Craighead shot numerous times. Critically injured, Craighead was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital. At 3:47 p.m., he was officially declared dead.

As of late Sunday, it was unclear what part Craighead played in the incident or who else may have been involved, but police believe he was outside when an altercation occurred.
