Based on the available evidence, the COVID-19 safety board of New Zealand has concluded that a 26-year-old New Zealand man who suffered myocarditis, likely died as a result of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
Foxnews reported that the unidentified man had received his first dose nearly two weeks after becoming ill with the rare heart condition.
According to the report, the individual failed to seek medical attention after becoming ill.
“With the currently available information, the Board has considered that the myocarditis was probably due to vaccination in this individual,” Bloomberg quoted the board as saying.
“The Board noted that Covid-19 infection can itself be a cause of myocarditis as well as other serious illnesses and it remains safer to be vaccinated than to be infected with the virus.”
A Fox News email was sent but after hours didn’t receive a response from Pfizer.
Later, Reuters cited the company spokesman who said it’s keeping an eye on any reports of issues with the vaccine.

Meanwhile, based on the findings of the Vaccine Independent Safety Monitoring Board, taking the vaccine is far more advantageous than the risks.
This is the second death attributed to the vaccine. In August, the board said a woman developed myocarditis after taking the vaccine which ultimately led to her death, Bloomberg reported.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention last week recommended that individuals get the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine instead of Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine.
“ACIP’s unanimous recommendation followed a robust discussion of the latest evidence on vaccine effectiveness, vaccine safety, and rare adverse events, and consideration of the U.S. vaccine supply,” the statement said.
