Sale of the Oldest Dairy Queen in North Carolina

Since 1947, people have been able to go to the Charlotte, North Carolina Dairy Queen on Wilkinson Boulevard.

A real estate site says that the shop at 2732 Wilkinson Blvd is now for sale.
The half-acre lot is listed for sale in the real estate listing for $1.4 million.

The listing says that the building could be used for “fast food, express oil change, auto detailing/car wash, and more.”

The Landmarks Commission claims this Dairy Queen was one of only two in Charlotte when it first opened in 1947. The other was a Central Avenue establishment that opened in 1950 and has since shut down.
