Police Investigate Two Cases of Forced Entry and Cash Theft in Libertyville
In a five-day period, there were two distinct burglaries in Libertyville that resulted in forced entrance into homes and cash theft, which is being investigated by the police.
On November 15, throughout the evening, a residential burglary was reported to the Libertyville Police Department. There was forced entry into the house in the 600 block of Nordic Court by unknown perpetrators.
The thieves made off with cash and jewels before leaving the area. On Monday afternoon or evening, there was another residential burglary that the Libertyville Police Department responded to.

A home on the 600 block of South Milwaukee Avenue was broken into by unknown perpetrators. Before leaving the scene, the criminals grabbed money from the house.
According to police officials, there is currently no more information that can be made public. The Libertyville Police Department is still looking into the incidents.
