One Dead After Car Falls Into Creek In Champaign County!
A man is dead after his car crashed into a creek in Champaign County.
On October 31, at 8:59 a.m., North Lewisburg and Champaign County Sheriff’s officers were called to the 11000 block of Middleburg-Plain City Road in Rush Township.
Crews found a black 1995 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer had crashed into a creek when they arrived on the site.
A statement from the Champaign County Sheriff’s office said that the SUV crossed over to the left side of the road as it was heading southeast on Middleburg-Plain City Rd approaching the 11000 block.

The vehicle veered off the path across a field and came to a stop in a creek. Upon inspecting the SUV, the crew discovered a male deceased in the driver’s seat.
As of now, the inquiry shows no signs of foul play. Until his family can be informed, the man’s identity is being kept confidential.
