New Details Revealed in Florida Mobile Home Plane Crash

The Clearwater Police Department has provided additional information about the tragic plane crash that occurred in Florida, resulting in the loss of three lives.

Victims Identified

The victims have been identified as Martha Parry, aged 86, from Clearwater, Mary Ellen Pender, aged 55, from Treasure Island, and Jemin Patel, aged 55, from Melbourne Beach.

On Thursday evening at approximately 7:08 p.m., the Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department received reports of a small plane crash in the Bayside Waters community, located just south of Clearwater Mall. Emergency crews arrived at the scene by 7:15 p.m. to provide assistance.

Victim Details

Martha Parry resided on Pagoda Drive, while Mary Ellen Pender was visiting her home when the tragic crash occurred. Jemin Patel was the pilot of the plane.

Flight Information

The single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza V35 had departed from Vero Beach Regional Airport at 6:08 p.m. with a scheduled landing at Clearwater Air Park one hour later, as indicated by FlightAware.

Engine Failure Report

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that around 7 p.m., the pilot of the plane communicated an engine failure.
