A devastating incident unfolded on Sunday in Iredell County when a plane crash led to the tragic death of the pilot.

Crash Details and Pilot’s Identity
Around 12:15 p.m., the NC State Highway Patrol responded to reports of a plane crash close to Adrian Lane.
The aircraft, attempting to land at Lake Norman Airport, collided with several trees and came down on the site of an abandoned house.
The pilot, identified as Randy Mysliviec from Mooresville, was at the controls during the crash. Despite being transported to a Mooresville hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
