I-94 In Calhoun County Reopens After Semi-Crash!
As of 1:02 p.m., Wednesday, I-94 between M-66 Exit 98 and M-294 has reopened to traffic, according to MDOT. Parts of I-94 in Calhoun County, both eastbound and westbound, were closed Wednesday morning due to an accident.

The Michigan Department of Transportation states that the collision occurred on eastbound I-94 at Exit 100, close to Beadle Lake Road, just before 4:30 a.m.
According to MDOT, I-94 is closed both eastbound and westbound between Exits 98 and 104.

When a semi-truck swerved to avoid a work barrel while heading west, it collided with another semi-truck. According to Emmett Township Public Safety, both trucks entered the eastbound lanes after smashing through the concrete median.
According to the authorities, one of the semi-trucks had 40,000 pounds of adhesive on it.
