Gwinnett County Man Arrested For Fatal Cobb County Shooting

The guy who authorities suspect is accountable for Wednesday’s shooting death of Kenneth Cunningham II outside an apartment complex in Cobb County has been taken into custody.

At around 10:30 a.m., there was a gunshot at the Harlow Apartments, located in the 2100 block of Cobb Parkway SE. Officers discovered Cunningham’s 40-year-old body—who had been shot several times—when they arrived. Following the shooting, a number of agencies responded and went on the hunt for the gunman.

The suspect has been identified as Gwinnett County resident Donovan Carter, 33, according to the Marietta Police Department. The Marietta Police Department then located Carter in collaboration with Gwinnett officers. The Gwinnett County Police Department pulled him over on Wednesday night.

The following accusations have been brought against him since his booking into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center: aggravated assault, murder committed while committing a crime, murder with malice, and possession of a firearm while committing a crime.
