After an accident early on Sunday morning in West Oak Cliff, one person is dead and another is in serious condition.
According to Dallas police, the accident occurred at about 2:30 a.m.
A pickup truck’s driver was travelling south on Cockrell Hill Road when, close to Illinois Avenue, he or she lost control and drove into a power pole.

The pickup truck had two passengers stuck inside. Firefighters came up to rescue them.
One was discovered dead, and they hurried the other to the hospital. At this moment, no further information has been released on the accident.
