Chicago Police: Losing Control On The Sw Side, A Car Crashes Into The River

CHICAGO (WLS) – On Sunday night, a car ended up in the Chicago River.

According to police, the driver was near Archer and Ashland avenues in Bridgeport when they lost control and went into the water shortly before 7:30 p.m.

According to police, the driver could exit the vehicle and reach dry land without injury.

The vehicle was dragged from the water by police marine crews.
