CHICAGO (WLS) – An infant was pronounced dead Wednesday after being discovered unresponsive in Lake Meadows on Chicago’s South Side.
A one-month-old girl named Sia Patel was discovered dead in the 500 block of East 33rd Place. According to police, it happened around 8:46 a.m.
The victim received first-aid treatment before being transported to Insight Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Detectives are awaiting the results of the autopsy.
