Law enforcement sources say that a man is in police arrest and is thought to have killed his wife and shot her son in the face in a Brooklyn neighborhood.

The woman was shot and killed on East New York’s Louisiana Avenue on Friday night, the NYPD said. Around 7 p.m., police were called to reports of two people being shot.

Police say her 26-year-old son was shot in the face and is in serious condition at Brookdale Hospital.

Police sources say the shooter turned himself in to two patrol officers in Bushwick that night. According to reports, he was then taken to the hospital for medical reasons. On Saturday, charges are likely to be made against the person.
