You May Be Eligible for Up to a $1400 Irs Plus-up Stimulus Check, but You Must Apply by December 31st
Before the clock strikes twelve, the Internal Revenue Service is offering some taxpayers another chance to collect a stimulus payment of up to $1,400.
As reported by The United States Sun, these payouts are a result of the American Rescue Act, which was signed into law by President Joe Biden in March of this year. These payouts, on the other hand, are subject to a number of conditions.
It is anticipated that the plus-up payments will be distributed to those who received a stimulus check based on their 2019 tax return or information obtained from the Social Security Administration in 2019.
However, according to IRS.gov, you must have earned less in 2020 than you did in 2019 in order to qualify.

The IRS also states that people who utilized the non-filers tool for prior stimulus payouts are required to file a 2020 tax return and claim all qualified dependents. Individuals with an annual income of $72,000 or less are eligible to file through their Free File Program.
To apply, you simply need to file your 2020 tax return, which the IRS will process and credit your account for the additional stimulus for any qualified dependents who are living with you. You have until December 31, 2021, to complete the project.
