3-Person Shooting Inside Chicago Building After Gunman Opens Door: Police

CHICAGO (WLS) – On Saturday night, three people were shot at a gathering in Washington Heights on the Far South Side.

A gunman opened the back door of a building in the 1200 block of West 103rd Street around 9:40 p.m. He opened fire on a group standing inside, according to Chicago police.

A 27-year-old man was shot in both legs and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was listed as stable.

Another man, 27 years old, was shot in the right leg. He was taken to the same hospital in good condition.

According to police, a third man, 29, was taken to Roseland Community Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the hand.

There were no arrests reported. Local cops are looking into it.
