21 Year Old Man Arrested Charged in Phenix City Shooting Incident

According to the Phenix City Police Department, a gunshot that took place on Wednesday has resulted in the arrest of one individual on a charge of attempted murder.

At 5:55 in the morning, officers from the Phenix City Police Department arrived on the scene on Gauntt Road.

Officers arrived on the scene and discovered that 30-year-old Blake Simons had been shot in the abdomen.

According to the police, Wyatt Dutton, 21, was taken into custody at the site. He was arrested and booked into the Russell County Jail after being charged with attempted murder.

Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital was where Simons was sent after the accident. At this moment, there is no information available regarding his condition. The investigation is still going on at this time.
