12-Year-Old Boy Found Delinquent In Horrible Murder Case!
On Thursday, October 5, 2023, a 12-year-old kid was judged delinquent, which is the same as guilty, on a m*rder charge in Johnson County Court at Law No. 1 after nearly seven hours of deliberation. The boy’s identity and the specifics of his three-day trial were kept private because of his young age.
The child was detained earlier this year in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on May 13 at a Sonic restaurant in Keene. Judge John Neill of County Court at Law No. 1 will preside over the sentencing part of the boy’s trial on Thursday.
Around 9:40 p.m. on May 13, 2023, Keene police responded to a report of gunfire at a Sonic on Old Betsy. According to the report, an argument between two ad*lts turned physical when the 12-year-old child got out of a car and shot the victim many times.

The youngster and his older aunt and uncle left the site after the incident. Officers were able to find the youngster and take him into custody after an inquiry brought them to a Rio Vista area. Additional weapons were found at the scene.
